Among These Dark Satanic Mills, the final volume in my Britain's Industrial Heritage series of illustrated journeys through the surviving evidence of Britain's rich industrial past, brings together a new collection of themes – all developed around mills and factories and the produce manufactured therein. As usual, it is accompanied by a gazetteer of places worth visiting. The title spreads of some of the chapters are reproduced below. Like the first three books in the series, the 144 page book is illustrated throughout in colour with hundreds of new pictures of heritage site from the Shetland Islands to Cornwall and many places in between.
Published in October 2022, the book is now available in hardback, priced £12.99.
