New Books
2022's new books – two of them thanks to publication delays because of the pandemic – were Among These Dark Satanic Mills, the final volume of my Britain's Industrial Heritage series which was published by PiXZ/Halsgrove in October, and The Gas Tramcar – an idea ahead of its time which was published by Pen & Sword Transport Books in November. Production issues have caused publication of 2023's planned new book The Men Who Invented Britain to be postponed until May 2024, and In Search of Wiltshire should also be published some time this year.
Since my first book Prospect of Scotland appeared in 1974, I have written or edited more than fifty books on a wide range of subjects.
