John Hannavy Publishing's first entirely in-house production, The Victorian Photographs of Dr. Thomas Keith and John Forbes White, is now published.
The 144-page hardback book, the result of many years' research, explores the life and work of these two eminent Scottish photographers from the 1850s. Using many examples of their work drawn from collections in Europe, the USA and Canada, the book is printed on high quality paper in full colour throughout to capture the unique character of their early salted paper prints.
The book is only available directly from the author/publisher, and will not be on sale in bookshops.
It is published in a strictly limited edition of 500 copies, and thanks to generous financial support from the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, the cover price is just £20 plus P+P.
