The John Hannavy Picture Collection
The John Hannavy Picture Collection contains thousands of images taken by John in Britain and throughout the world,
together with a growing archive of historic images, chronicling both John's travels
and the early British photographers in whose footsteps he has been travelling since 2001.
The images below give just a small sample of the subjects covered.

The library contains thousands of images reflecting nearly forty years of architectural, landscape and heritage photography,
and a large collection of Victorian images by the many photographers about whom he has written over the past thirty years,
including Roger Fenton, Francis Frith, George Washington Wilson and others. These images are available for editorial use.
